Vicky Lee

I’m Vicky Lee.  I live in the North East and I enjoy exploring our beautiful countryside and beaches with my two lovely children, aged 11 and 13.  I love to read, bake, watch musicals at the theatre and I also enjoy watching football.

I’m an Assistant Educational Psychologist with ASK Psychology and also an experienced primary school teacher of over 21 years. Alongside my role as an AEP, I continue to teach part time in a primary school.  I find that working between the two roles gives me a powerful understanding of current school practice and how educational psychology can provide effective, joined up support for children and schools.

I recently completed a Master’s degree in Psychology and have aspirations to undertake doctoral training in Educational Psychology in the future. My academic and professional interests are grounded in relational practice and Positive Psychology.

I centre a relational approach in all of my practice.  I strongly believe in the importance of working collaboratively with children, families, school staff and other professionals. I aim to bring a positive, thoughtful and compassionate approach to my work, alongside humour and fun, underpinned by genuine care for the children and communities I support.

Why working for ASK works for me

It is a pleasure to join the ASK team as an Assistant Educational Psychologist. The role offers valuable flexibility, allowing me to balance my work while staying closely connected to school practice. I have felt genuinely supported as part of a team committed to making a positive difference for children, families and schools.  ASK provides a supportive environment, where individuals are valued and able to grow their practice.
